Flora egg hunt to be Saturday afternoon
Comet staff report

Flora Kiwanis Club's sixth annual Easter Egg Hunt will be March 31 at 1 p.m., with registration beginning at 12:30. This is a time change from the traditional morning hunt.

The event will be held rain or shine at the Flora Community Park. If the weather is rainy, an Easter party will be held in the 4-H Building.

The hunt is for ages 2-9, and children should bring their own baskets or containers. There will be designated areas for various age groups. A total of 3,300 candy-filled eggs will be hidden at the park.

All participants will receive a toy, and there will be 27 special prizes. In addition, a boy's bike and a girl's bike will be given away in the 4-5-6 age group and the 7-8-9 age group, and a wagon will be given in the 3 and under group.
