CENTRAL INDIANA PURRR-FECT CAT FANCIERS, INC. will have a show April 14-15 from 9 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. at the National Guard Armory, 5220 E. CR 200 S. (Haggerty Lane), Lafayette.

One day after his induction into the Indiana Basketball Hall of Fame, LANDON TURNER will speak at Indiana University Kokomo. The public is invited to meet Turner and hear his talk on March 22 at 7 p.m. in Kresge Auditorium. Admission is free. 12-WHAT'S HAPPENING ELSEWHERE

TheWest Central Chapter of the Indiana Native Plant and Wildflower Society will host a presentation about CONSERVATION BORDERS AND BUFFERS March 26 at 7 p.m. at the Lilly Nature Center. Linda Eastman, rural conservation coordinator for the Tippecanoe County Soil and Water Conservation District, will discuss programs using native plants to increase wildlife habitat and decrease sediment and nutrient runoff. SOUNDS OF SPRING - THE WACKY WOODCOCKS, sponsored by Wednesdays in the Wild, will be presented March 21 from 7 to 9 p.m. at the Tippecanoe Amphitheater. Learn about spring mating rituals from Tippecanoe County Naturalist Mary Cutler and members of the Sycamore Audubon Society.
