Camden Camden American Legion will meet Monday night in the Legion Home. Eleven members of the Aim Hi E.H. Club met in the home of Joan Rogers last Thursday evening. Sue Wertz was co-hostess. Devotions were given by Evetta Recher. Donna Swayze and Jane George presented the lesson, "Little Old Ladies and Grumpy Old Men." The birthday song honored Donna Swayzee. Prize winner was Colleen Franek. The following students represented Camden Elementary School at the MATH Bowl competition held at Galveston: Braden Abbott, Jared Blocher, Rachel Bowlin, Courtney Brown, Emma Carpenter, Kyle Flanagan, Jack Gillam, Jackie Hensley, Hailey Huffman, Baylee Richard, Adam Shanks, Jordan Willis, Devin Wolf, and Adam Zink. Top readers in Camden Elementary School's Reading Counts program were Aneilya Carbaugh, 66 points; Caleb Kuns, 39; Payton Flora, 44; Devin Wolf, 51; Alisha Blocher, 32; Miranda Clingenpeel, 28; Kayla Fogarasi, 38; Blaine Bolton, 46; Zoe Martin, 59; and Jordan Fields, 47. Total points for the year for all students are 300,921. |
