Horn, McConnell pledge vows
Megan Kathryn Horn and Michael Alan McConnell, both of Lafayette, were united in marriage on Oct. 7 at Grace Lutheran Church in Lafayette. Pastor Ed Morrow officiated.
The bride is daughter of Denis and Bonnie Horn of Lafayette. Parents of the groom are Alan and Elaine McConnell of Delphi.
Music was provided by pianist Tim Foland of Lafayette, and violinist Patrick Murphy of West Lafayette. Other musicians were Jennifer Alsbaugh of Antioch, Tenn., and Leah Morrison of Delphi.
Maid of honor was Heather Horn of Chicago, sister of the bride. Bridesmaids included Lauren Maxwell of Delphi, Liz Sheaks of Indianapolis, Mandy Masterson of LaPorte, and Amanda Jackson of Lafayette.
Nicole Wagner of Delphi and Grace Royer of Lafayette served as flower girls. Braxton Thompson of Delphi, was ring bearer.
Best men were Josh Yoder of Plainfield and Cooper Lacy of Delphi. Groomsmen were Brad Friedrichsen of Lafayette, Greg Wilson of Westfield, and Barrett Miller of Indianapolis.
Blaine Burton of Columbus, Ohio, Phillip Zink of Sharpsville, and Taylor Johnson of Marietta, Ga., cousin of the bride, served as ushers.
The reception was held at the University Inn in West Lafayette.
The bride is a 2002 graduate of Delphi Community High School. She graduated in 2006 from Purdue University with a Bachelor of Science degree in nursing. She is employed as a registered emergency room nurse at St. Vincent Hospital in Indianapolis.
The groom is a 2000 graduate of Delphi Community High School. He graduated from Wabash College in 2004 with a liberal arts degree in history. He is employed as a sales representative for Kirby Risk Electrical Supply in Indianapolis.
Following a three-day trip to Las Vegas and a week-long
cruise, Mr. and Mrs. McConnell are residing at 8833 Running Creek Court in
Indianapolis.
