Circuit Court New filings are from public records available in the Carroll County Clerk's office on the second floor of the courthouse, Delphi. Other information regarding judgments and marriage dissolutions is gathered from public records found in the clerk's office. Thomas Anthony Powell, 40, pled guilty to theft. He was sentenced to three years in prison, all but 32 days suspended, and unsupervised probation for the remainder of the sentence. In a default judgement, a contract between The Martin R. Rinehart IRA account and Lynnette Baltazar was terminated. Jack Brooks was ordered to pay Citimortgage Inc. $45,300.34 through foreclosure of property. A decree of dissolution was granted for the following: Angela Hart and William Hart; Jason Robinson and Jennifer Robinson; Julie Nichole McQuiston and Ryan Patrick McQuiston; Kevin L. Giddens and Mary Kay Giddens; and Leslie D. Shay and Kathryn Shay. An order on verified petition for change of name was granted to Michael Lee Voorhees, whose former name was Michael Lee Voorhees Lazarus. A decree of name change was granted to Samuel Herbert Anderson, whose true name is now Samuel Herbert Anderson-Been. The following were found in arrears in the payment of child support: Robert Wilson Jr. in the amount of $7,780.71; Mark McLeland, $8,105.00; Dale Babcock,$ 15,326.00; Rondall Lee White Jr., $22,649.58; Wayne Shirar, $8,134; Jason Williamson, $5,019; Mary Elizabeth Haskins, $5,257.54; Dan Huddleston, $802; Douglas Dirschell, $2,804; David Colbert, $5,163.52; Kevin J. Stout, $8,873.35; Rhonda D. Blount, $23,019.72; and Rex McCain, $19,283.18. Capital One Bank filed a complaint against Dana L. Knight. Capital One Bank filed a complaint against Scott Knight. JP Morgan Chase Bank filed a complaint on note and to reform and foreclose mortgage against Charles R. LaPlante and Mary A. LaPlante. The Farmer's Bank filed a complaint on promissory notes and to foreclose mortgage against Curt Owen and Christie K. Owen. Hawker Financial Corp. filed a complaint against Derek A. Geiken. Countrywide Home Loans filed a complaint to foreclose mortgage against Matthew D. and Camille S. Lively. The following cases were dismissed: FIA Card Services NA vs. Michael E. Miller and Kathleen A. Miller; Resurgence Financial LLC vs. Mamoun Hariri; WM Specialty Mortgage LLC vs. Carl D. Morrison, Gerald G. Ward and Carol S. Ward; Washington Mutual Bank vs. Bradford A. Myers and Beth Schrader Myers; Washington Mutual Bank vs. Marc Daniel Macaluso and Aimee Renee Macaluso; and Washington Mutual Bank vs. Kenneth J. Slaybaugh. Default judgements were entered for the plaintiff in the following cases: Midland Credit Management Inc. vs. Candis Simons, $1,022.75; Midland Credit Management Inc. vs. Lucinda Sheets, $7,608.20; and GE Money Bank vs. Ruth Isley, $1,130.42. Jennifer Watson was found to be in arrears in the payment of child support in the amount of $1,488.39. A decree of dissolution was granted between Edward A. Davis and Lisa E. Davis. Gregory Lynn Jones, 42, of Monticello, was found guilty of dealing in methamphetamines. He was sentenced to 12 years in prison, to run consecutively with a Superior Court sentencing, six years suspended, and six years probation. Additional charges against Jones were dismissed. Inmer E. Conner, 19, was found guilty of burglary. He was sentenced to six years in prison, three years suspended, and three years probation. Kyle Brandon Stout, 18, pled guilty to criminal recklessness. He was sentenced to three years of electronically monitored in-home detention, one year suspended. John D. Banes pled guilty to possession of methamphetamines. He was sentenced to eight years in prison, seven years suspended and one executed, and seven years probation. The Carroll County auditor was ordered to issue a tax deed to Doug Hines. Janice Rosenbarger and Donald Rosenbarger were ordered to pay $62,496.30, in addition to foreclosure of property, to US Bank NA. The court ordered Ralph Lynn Scott and Lola Linn Scott to split proceeds from the selling of stored soybeans. Joseph B. O'Brien was ordered to serve the remaining balance of his four-year sentence for violation of probation. A complaint for damages was filed against Brain W. Wallace by Hudson and Keyse LLC. |
