Kara Newbold, North White senior
Kara Newbold, 17, Monon, is the daughter of Glenn and Tamara Newbold.
The North White senior was nominated by her health career's teacher, Ingrid Miller.
Newbold has volunteered her time at the Tri-Kappa and Lions Club food stands at the fair for four years; the Red Cross Blood drive for two years; Scrubby Bear, an educational device for teaching kindergartners the importance of hand washing; Senior Bingo; Toys for Tots; school blood drive, and will be assisting in the North White Drug Education Program for the middle school in March 2007.
Her extracurricular activities include cheerleading, girl's golf, German Club, and Sunshine Society.
She is on the honor roll and her academic achievements include U.S. History Academic Award, Health Careers Academic Award, Health Academic Award, P.E. Academic Award, Child Development Award, and AHA CPR-HCP.
