The Indiana State Police at the Lafayette Post has released statistics for February. Troopers issued 920 traffic citations and wrote 439 traffic warnings. Troopers also arrested 24 drunk drivers and made 117 criminal arrests.

They also issued 162 truck citations; investigated 69 vehicle crashes; made 17 crash arrests; and made 187 calls for service.

Detectives from the Criminal Investigations Division, working from the Lafayette Post, worked 16 new cases and assisted the troopers in total criminal arrests.

The ISP Commercial Vehicle Enforcement Division inspected 115 commercial motor vehicles, placing nine trucks out of service. Ten drivers were cited for overweight violations.
