TLHS to present Bye, Bye Birdie

Twin Lakes High School Theatre and Music department will present Bye, Bye Birdie in the TLHS auditorium on Friday and Saturday nights at 7:30.

The musical by Michael Stewart, Charles Strouse and Lee Adams is one of the bestloved American musicals of all time. The story revolves around Conrad Birdie (portrayed by DJ Miller), a hipthrusting rock and roll superstar, who is idolized by screaming teenagers across the country. His fans are sent into despair at the news that he has been drafted into the Army. Thinking quickly Birdie's manager Albert (Ray Jay Hall) and his secretary/girlfriend Rose Alvarez (Marie Gutwein) turn this minor tragedy into a publicity coup.
