Delphi 8th girls are tourney champs
Delphi 8th grade Lady Oracles won the White County tournament held Saturday. The championship game against Tri County came down to the wire with the Lady Oracles claiming the 37-34 victory. Leading the Oracles was Whitney Arion with 13 points. Chanler Norman added 11, Carli Rouhier, Randee Schultz and Brittani Rhodes each had 4, and Grace Mears with 1.
They defeated North White 27-17 in the morning game. Scoring for the Lady Oracles were Arion with 9, Rouhier and Rhodes with 6 each, and Norman, Schultz and Mears with 2 each.
DCMS swimmers beat Carroll, win Rensselaer Relays

Delphi Community Middle School swim team defeated Carroll 117-68.
First place winners for Delphi were: Alex Price, 50 and 100 freestyles; Jordan Hudelson, 100 IM and 100 breaststroke; Grace Currie, 50 butterfly; and Chelsey Marcotte, diving. Price, Hudelson and Currie teamed with Keaton Garrison to win the 200 medley relay and Garrison, Price and Hudelson teamed with Abbey Mose to win the 200 freestyle relay.
For Carroll, first place winners were: Cory Ritter, 200 freestyle; Stephanie Strawcutter, 400 freestyle; Kurtis Robeson, 100 backstroke; and Strawcutter, Shelby Spray, Ritter and Jake Wilkinson the 400 freestyle relay.
Rensselaer Relays
The Delphi swim team won the Rensselaer Relays. Team scores were Delphi 96, Twin Lakes 78, Benton Central 72, Rensselaer 62, Kankakee Valley 36, North Newton 22, Knox 18.
Delphi had four first place finishes, setting Rensselaer Relay records. The 800 freestyle relay team of Annie Mose, Erika Matrica, Brianna Walters and Payton Windell had a winning time of 10:32.43, while the 200 freestyle relay team of Keaton Garrison, Abbey Mose, Rollie Taylor and Alex Price had a winning time 1:59.13. The 400 freestyle relay team of Abbey Mose, Annie Mose, Payton Windell and Alex Price won with a time 4:38.96, while the 400 backstroke relay team of Annie Mose, Windell, Alison Million and Price had a winning time of 5:19.64.
Other relay places were: 200 medley relay team of Price, Jordan Hudelson, Grace Currie and Garrison 3rd, 400 IM relay team of Hudelson, Abbey Mose, Vaniesa Rohrman and Currie 3rd, 200 butterfly relay team of Hudelson, Annie Mose, Abbey Mose and Currie 2nd, 500 progressive relay team of Garrison, Taylor, Walters and Matrica 4th, and 400 breaststroke relay team of Hudelson, Rohrman, Walters and Currie 3rd.
Delphi's coaching staff includes Brian Burton, Joe Bowyer, Margaret Mose, Patty Hudelson, Jean Randle, and Jon Randle.
