JARRED BEAVER of Flora was named to the dean's list at Oakland City University, Oakland City, for the fall 2006 semester.

Students at Carroll Elementary turned in 359 Read Cougar Read tickets for February. Winners of a free book were: OLIVIA HODSON, kindergarten; LANDON LEES, first grade; SHANIA BORDNER, second; KYLE BURGER, third; LUKE UNGER, fourth; REID CLINGENPEEL, fifth; and CHEY HUGHES, sixth grade.

March is the last month for the Book-It Program.
