DCSC Kindergarten enrollment approaching
Half and full-day available

Kindergarten Round-Up is approaching for Hillcrest and Camden elementary schools for the 2007-08 school year.

Hillcrest enrollment will be April 4 and Camden will be April 5, with both between 8:30 a.m. and 5:30 p.m.

Either half-day and full-day kindergarten will be offered. A fee, payable later, will be charged for full-day kindergarten.

The enrollment process will take an hour. During that time, enrollment forms will be completed and health examinations including speech, hearing and eye exams will be administered. A description of school and community programs will be available and transportation questions will be addressed.

During regular kindergarten school hours on the day of enrollment, parents and children will have the opportunity to observe the kindergarten program in progress and meet one of the teachers.

Eligible students must reside in the Delphi Community School Corporation district as well as within the elementary school attendance boundary and must be five years old on or before Aug. 1, 2007. A birth certificate and immunization records are required. A divorce decree stating custody of the child is required when applicable.
