Vicki L. Martin

Vicki L. Martin, 52, of Flora, passed away at 10:36 a.m. Friday, Feb. 23, 2007, at her residence.

She was born June 3, 1954, in Logansport, to George L. and Mary V. Ritcher Walters Sr. She attended Carroll schools. On April 30, 1971, she married Ray Martin in Kokomo.

Mrs. Martin was employed by CDC Resources as a caregiver.

She was a member of the Valley View Baptist Church in Flora.

Mrs. Martin enjoyed spending time on the computer talking with her friends, shopping, and watching midget racing.

She is survived by two daughters, Amy Jo Martin Ostler (husband: Larry) of Frankfort, and Jodi Lynn Martin Wood (husband: Mike) of Burlington; one son, Clifford Ray Martin III of Flora; a sister, Mary Wiggam (husband: Stan) of Kokomo; a brother, George L. Walters (wife: Carol) of Flora; and four grandchildren.

Services were held Tuesday at Valley View Baptist Church. Pastor Bill Godbey will officiate. Burial will take place at Zion Cemetery in Bringhurst.

Memorial contributions may be made to either the Diabetes Foundation or the American Heart Association.

Reinke Funeral Home, Flora, was in charge of arrangements.
