William F. Lang Jr.

William F. Lang Jr., 72, of Tell City, died Feb. 26, 2007, at his home.

He was born Dec. 12, 1934, in Delphi, to William Frederick Sr. and Susie Price Lang. His marriage was to Donna Remaly on Aug. 28, 1960, and she survives.

Mr. Lang served on the sheriff's departments in Carroll and Spencer counties and was active in the National Guard in Perry and Carroll counties. He was a member of St. John's Lutheran Church in Evanston.

Surviving are two daughters, Ronda Cardin of Evansville and Robin Neukam of Haysville; two sons, Billy Lang of Birdseye and Eric Lang of Tell City; four grandchildren; three stepchildren; two step-great-grandsons; and a sister, Lena Sue Schroeder.

Services will be Friday at 11 a.m at St. John's Lutheran Church in Evanston. Visitation will be Thursday from 2 to 8 p.m. at Zoercher-Gillick Funeral Home in Tell City and one hour prior to services at the church. Burial will be in the church's cemetery.

Memorial contributions may be made to St. John's Lutheran Church for the Sunday School, Sonshine Childcare and Preschool.
