Gerald F. Klinker Private services for Gerald F. Klinker, 71, of Camden, were held Thursday at Gundrum Funeral Home, Logansport. Father Christopher Weldon officiated and burial was in Mt. Hope Cemetery, Logansport. He died at 7:50 a.m. Sunday, Feb. 18, 2007, at Mulberry Health & Retirement Community, Mulberry. Born Feb. 3, 1936, in Lafayette, he was the son of Ralph Raymond and Eva Ferguson Klinker. He was married on June 18, 1955, in Lafayette, to Nancy J. Gilbert, who survives. Mr. Klinker was a former airline mechanic and technician for American Airlines. He also owned and operated Klinker & Sons Construction Company. A 1954 graduate of West Lafayette High School, he graduated from Purdue University with an AAS degree in aviation maintenance technology. He received his Bachelor of Science degree in industrial supervision from Purdue in 1967. Surviving with his wife are a daughter, Colleen Klinker of Georgia; five sons, Andrew Klinker of Illinois, Gregory Klinker of Michigan, Matthew Klinker of New Hampshire, and Christopher Klinker and Jerry Klinker, both of Indiana; eight grandchildren; two brothers; and two sisters.
