New horticulture series to begin March 14

A monthly horticulture series is being started by Paul Marcellino, Purd u e U n i v e r s i t y Extension Educator. The meetings will include informative topics concerning the vegetable and floral gardener.

Attendees can expect presentations that are of a local interest, as well as some of the innovations that are in the process of development. A combination of local enthusiasts and professional horticulturalists will present programming throughout the year.

The meetings will be held the second Wednesday of each month at 9 a.m. at the 4-H Exhibit Building in Flora. There is no charge to attend.

The first meeting will be March 14 when Marcellino will present a program on the Emerald Ash Borer.
