Carroll receives high scores at state vocal/piano auditions

Carroll students shined at the Indiana State Vocal/Piano Auditions Saturday at Warren Central High School.

The following groups all received a gold medal:

Small ensemble (perfect score) - Chelsea DeVos, Angel Jackson, Kaitlin Kennedy, Savanah Stevens, and Lauren Wilkinson.

Girls large ensemble - Cally Ayres, Chelsea DeVos, Leann Hazelgrove, Aubree Herron, Amber Hughes, Angel Jackson, Kaitlin Kennedy, Anna Scharer, Savanah Stevens, and Lauren Wilkinson.

Mixed quartet - Chelsea DeVos, Nick Jones, Kaitlin Kennedy, and Seth Pencek.

Savanah Stevens and Nick Jones each received gold for their vocal solos, Hope Hayden received a silver for her vocal solo, and Leann Hazelgrove received a gold for her piano solo.

Their director is Joe Spence.
