Bobby D. Cree

Bobby D. Cree, 77, of Delphi, died at 5:11 p.m. Feb. 19, 2007, at St. Elizabeth Hospital, Lafayette.

Born Aug. 9, 1929, in Camden, he was the son of Harold Neal and Arlene E. Barnard Cree. He attended Camden High School. On June 21, 1953, in Delphi, he married Helen L. Dubes, who survives.

A life resident of Carroll County, Mr. Cree was employed by Brown Rubber in Lafayette from 1950 to 1960. In 1960, he went to work as a ready mix concrete truck driver for Hedde Ready Mix in Logansport, which later became D&B Ready Mix and then IMI. He retired from there in 1991.

He attended the Delphi United Methodist Church.

He enjoyed hunting, fishing, mushroom hunting, and after his retirement, cooking.

Surviving with his wife are a brother, Wayne Cree of Las Vegas, and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by a brother, Ralph; a twin brother, Billy; sister, Wilma Jean Zimmerman; and an infant sister, Janet Sue, and his parents.

Services will be held at 10 a.m. Friday at Cree Funeral Home, Camden. Pastor Todd Ladd will officiate and burial will be at the I.O.O.F. Cemetery in Pittsburg. Friends may call at the funeral home from 4 to 8 p.m. Thursday.

Memorials may be made to a charity of the donor's choice.
