James T. Mahoney

James T. Mahoney Sr., 77, of Brookston and formerly of Lafayette, died Feb. 19, 2007, at 2:30 p.m. at Greenwood Health and Living Center in Greenwood.

He was born March 7, 1929, in Pittsburgh, Pa., to the late Joseph and Rosemary Gallagher Mahoney.

Mr. Mahoney retired from Indiana Gas after 21 years of service.

He was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church in Delphi.

A U.S. Army veteran, he served during the Korean conflict.

Surviving are four sons, James T. Mahoney Jr. (wife: Peggy) of Carmel, Timothy J. Mahoney of Flora, Andrew S. Mahoney of Lafayette and Joel S. Mahoney of Brookston; daughter, Megan N. Daley (husband: Brian) of Greenwood; 10 grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.

Private family services were held and burial was at St. Boniface Cemetery, Lafayette.
