Deer Creek Delphiniums

Deer Creek Delphiniums 4-H Club met on Feb. 8. The meeting was called to order by Shannon Kremer. Pledges were led by Alyssa Brower and Brooke Beale.

Kremer introduced the two adult leaders, Bernadette Kremer and Melissa Darling. Ms. Kremer met with parents of new members to answer questions.

The 4-H theme for this year is "Fun in the Sun." 4-H enrollment forms are due in the Extension Office by March 1.

The following officers were elected: Shannon Kremer, president; Brent Kremer, vice president; Brooke Beale, secretary; and Jared Kelley, treasurer.

4-Hers began and ended the meeting by making valentines for Carroll Manor residents. The service activity for this meeting was bringing bingo prizes. Club members will be playing bingo with Carroll Manor residents on Feb. 22.

The next regular meeting will be March 1. Members are reminded to bring seed packets for the club's service activity.
