Delphi church to honor its senior members

The First Presbyterian Church in Delphi will honor all its members who are 90 and over on Sunday with a lunch and fellowship.

There are eleven members who fit into this category: Lee Flora, Pete and Sylvia Rodgers, John Klepinger, Donnabelle Sieber, Ruth Howell, Jim Rankin, Floyd Johns, Margaret Burkle, LaVaunne Million and Gertrude Bowman.

Most of these people will not be able to attend because of health reasons and weather. However, weather permitting John Klepinger, Donnabelle Sieber and Margaret Burkle will be present.

Those who want to attend are asked to call the church office, 564-2371, Rosie Wilson, 686-2719 or Pat Duff 574-967-3329. There is no charge for the baked steak lunch, to be served at 11 a.m. However, there will be a basket available for those wanting to contribute to the party.

The church service will begin at 9:30 a.m. for those wanting to attend the morning service. Lunch will immediately follow.

There is no planned program or speeches, just food and fellowship and time to visit with these people.
