Luella Mae Jones Luella Mae Jones, 84, of rural Delphi, passed away Feb. 9, 2007, at 7:15 p.m. in her home. Mrs. Jones was born April 18, 1922, in Hamilton County, to Martin and Dora Mae Chatt Lowe. She married Wilbur O. Jones on Jan. 30, 1944, in Sheridan, and he survives. They recently celebrated their 63rd wedding anniversary. Mrs. Jones was a homemaker and helped her husband at Jonesey's Farm Service. She formerly worked at Globe Valve and the office of Dr. Robert Seese. She was also a private caregiver for several area families. She loved reading, spending time outdoors, gardening and mowing. She loved playing cards and caring for others. Her family was most important to her. Surviving are three daughters, Patricia Ann Jones (husband: Bob) and Sandra Lou "Dusty" Davidson (husband: Larry), all of Ridgefield, Wash., and Judy Kay Listenberger (husband: Michel) of Niles, Mich.; three sons, Rick Jones (wife: Teena) of Bringhurst, Jack Jones (wife: Betty) of Delphi and Jeffrey Jones (wife: Irenda) of Kokomo; 20 grandchildren; and 22 great-grandchildren. A brother, Herman Lowe, a sister, Leona Jackson, her parents, two grandchildren and one great-grandchild preceded her in death. Services were held Feb. 13 at Davidson Funeral Home in Delphi. Pastor Bill Godby officiated and burial was at I.O.O.F. Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to the Restless Legs Syndrome Foundation, 819 Second St. SW, Rochester, MN, 55902.
