AG cautions against unconscionable pricing

Indiana Attorney General Steve Carter is cautioning businesses and individuals against taking advantage of Hoosiers during this week's snow storm where more than 50 Indiana counties are under winter storm advisories, watches or severe weather warnings. Complaints of unconscionable pricing for products will be investigated.

Consumers who believe they have been the victims of unconscionable pricing can report the incident to the Attorney General's Office at 1- 800-382-5516. Complaints may also be received online 24-hours a day at www.Indiana Consumer.com.

To file a complaint about excessive gasoline pricing, consumers should call 1-866- 241-9753.

Complete information will be required including the name and street address of the business/institution. Anonymous complaints will not be accepted.
