WEDNESDAYS IN THE WILD will host an indoor program titled "Exploration of Kankakee Sand Country" Feb. 21 from 1 to 3 p.m. at the Lilly Nature Center. Field Operations Manager Gus Nyberg of the Nature Conservancy will talk about the Kankakee Sands Restoration Project and the ecological relationships that create and maintain prairie, savanna and wetland systems.
