Indianapolis businessman to speak to DCHS students

As part of Black History Month activities, Martin L Boatright, Indianapolis businessman, will be speaking to Delphi Community High School students at 9 and 10 a.m. on Feb. 21.

Boatright received an associate degree in social and mortuary sciences from Vincennes University. He credits Indianapolis Public Schools, his parents, the NAACP, and the Indianapolis Urban League for his interest in and knowledge of Black history.

Titled "Death is the Bridge for Cultural Diversity," his speech will highlight historical figures such as Rosa Parks, Dr. Martin L. King, and John F. Kennedy.

Interested community members are invited to attend.
