Carroll County was awarded federal funds for local agencies to assist families and individuals in need of emergency food and shelter. Local service organizations that provide those services may present requests for funds at the EMERGENCY FOOD AND SHELTER PROGRAM BOARD MEETING Feb. 15 at 8:30 a.m. in the Area IV Agency office, 700 N. The Carroll County Extension Office will host the ANNUAL CROPS CLINIC Feb. 21 from 9:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. at the 4-H Community Building in Flora. Jim Cripe of The Andersons and Dr. Chris Hurt of Purdue University will share information concerning ethanol. Dr. Gregory Shaner from Purdue extension will address soybean rust and treatment. Excel Co-op Risk Manager Mike Titus will present procedures about proper pesticide containment and spill cleanup. The afternoon session will be an approved program for re-certification credit toward the Pesticide Applicator's License. Extension Homemakers will sponsor QUILT TALES BY JIMPSIE DOYEL - A SPECIAL INTEREST LESSON Feb. 19 at 10 a.m. in the Flora 4-H building. Registration will begin at 9:30 a.m. The theme is storytelling through quilts. Extension Homemakers, Sew N Sews and Quality Quilters will have displays. Delphi Homemakers will meet Feb. 20 at the Presbyterian Church. Contact Darice Sheiss at (765) 564- 3169 for information.

DELPHI AMERICAN LEGION AUXILIARY will meet Feb. 21 at 7 p.m. in the Globe Valve Room of the Delphi library.

A FREE EDUCATIONAL SEMINAR titled "Toxicity in America and Its Relationship to Disease and Obesity" will be offered Feb. 21 at 7 p.m. in the Wabash & Erie Canal Interpretive Center, 1030 N. Washington St., Delphi.

Delphi Presbyterian Church invites all senior citizens to its monthly COMMUNITY LUNCHEON, Feb. 21 at noon at the church. An elevator is available for those in need. For a ride or questions, call Susan at the church at (765) 564-2371 from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.
