DAVE LAMBERT of Lambert Farms, Flora, is a new member of the board of directors of Indiana Pork, an association of pork producers and affiliated parties. The organization's annual meeting was held on Jan. 30 in Indianapolis.

Carroll County Senior and Family Services Agency has announced the addition of two Carroll County residents to their board of directors.

VICKI DEHAAI will represent areas including Radnor, Ockley and Owasco. She and her husband, Jerry, own DeHaai Construction.

DORIS OYLER will represent the Flora area. She is a part-time school bus driver for Carroll Consolidated School Corporation and resides in Flora with her husband, Atlee.

DON NELSON of Flora was elected vice president of the Grissom Community Council during the group's annual membership meeting on Feb 10. The Grissom Community Council, originally formed in the 1960s, is a civilian nonprofit organization dedicated to providing support to the military units and personnel at Grissom Air Reserve Base.

As the vice president, Nelson will direct the activities of the council and its more than 130 members. Throughout the course of the year, the council will be involved in a number of special activities at Grissom ARB, help to educate the local populace on the mission of the base, and promote interaction between the civilian and military communities.

In addition to election of officers, the annual membership meeting featured special presentations by Brig. Gen. Dean Despinoy, 434th Air Refueling Wing commander, and Lt. Col. Gary Lockard, chief of public affairs.

The council has more than 130 members in the Miami, Cass and Howard County areas.
