Bruce K. Burkhalter

Bruce K. Burkhalter, 52, of Williamsport, died Feb. 3, 2007, at 11:25 a.m. at St. Vincent Heart Institute of Indiana.

Mr. Burkhalter was born to Don and Elsie Brehmer Burkhalter on April 9, 1954, in Lafayette. His first marriage was to Diana Emmitt in Rockfield. He married Sandra Hurst Kelp in Rainsville on Nov. 4, 1994, and she survives.

Mr. Burkhalter owned and operated Burkhalter Refinishing.

Also surviving are his parents of Delphi; four daughters, Kelli Kelly and Ashley Wolfe, both of Lafayette, Tracy Moore of Attica, and Kayleigh Kelp of Williamsport; two sisters, Lisa Cook and Amy Adams, both of Delphi; a brother, Brent Burkhalter of Lafayette; and eight grandchildren.

A private graveside service will be held at a later date at Highland Cemetery, Williamsport.
