A L E X A N D E R ATKISSON, a 7th grader at Carroll Junior High School,

r e c e n t l y served as a l e g i s l a t i v e page for State Repres e n t a t i v e Rich Mc- Clain (R-Log a n s p o r t )

during the 2007 session of the Indiana General Assembly. As a page, students 13 years and older spend the day gaining a greater understanding about state government and how laws are made.

He is the son of Bill and Annie Atkisson.

TRAVIS YOAKUM of Camden rec e n t l y served as a page for Senator Tom Weatherwax (R-Logansport). Pages spend the day at the Sate House a s s i s t i n g senators and Senate staff members with a variety of legislative duties and learning about the structure of Indiana government.

A sophomore at Delphi Community High School, he is the son of Connie Mc- Carthy and Robert Yoakum.

Four area students have qualified for induction into the Spring 2006 National Honor Roll. The National Honor Roll recognizes highachieving high school and middle school students. Qualifying students include: ADAM J. BONNER, Flora; ERIN M. HEMMERLING, Frankfort; JUSTIN D. MOFFITT, Flora; and AUDREY B. SNAVLEY, Camden.
