What's Happening Elsewhere The Peru Chapter #89 CIRCUS CITY SAMS will be meeting for dinner on Feb. 17 at 5:30 p.m. at Wabash Gardens in Wabash. Girl Scout's Wildwood Camp will host a GRANT INFORMATION MEETING at their facility at 303 East Clay Street, Logansport, on Feb. 21, at 6:30 p.m. The Indiana Arts Commission and Tippecanoe Arts Federation (TAF) are calling for applications from each of the 14 counties they serve. The meeting is free and open to anyone considering applying for funding. Applications will be available at the meeting or on-line at www.tippecanoearts.org. RSVP to TAF at 1-800-721-2787. Walk-ins are welcome, however due to space constraints, reservations are encouraged. Lafayette Numismatic Society will hold a COIN SHOW Feb. 18 from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. in the Home Economics building of the Tippecanoe County Fairgrounds, 1401 Teal Road in Lafayette. WABASH WEAVERS GUILD will meet Feb. 16 from 9:30 a.m. to 12 p.m. in the north meeting room on the lower level of the Tippecanoe Arts Federation building in Lafayette. Methods will be discussed concerning multi-colored warps. The event is open to the public. The group meets regularly the third Friday of each month.
