Delphi Main Street

Delphi Main Street recently lost its treasurer and other members of the board and is actively seeking new members. Flyers regarding recruitment for board and committee members will be distributed in coming months. It was suggested that after filling these vacancies the committee bill the city for dues.

The design committee will present information about Adopt a Spot at the next meeting.

The promotion committee recently presented a kiosk to the local Wabash & Erie Canal Center. The committee is also developing plans to enhance the Father's Day Transportation Festival and the Delphi Art Show.

The board urged the community's graffiti to be cleaned and covered immediately. It was recommended that the perpetrator be required to perform community service. The board discussed purchasing paint and offering volunteer labor to assist local vandalism victims in mitigating the damage.

The next board meeting will be Feb. 22 at 7 p. m. in the city building.
