Lula Mae Yoder

Services for Lula Mae Yoder, 78, of K o k o m o were held Jan. 22 at Crossroads Community C h u r c h K o k o m o The Rev. Ron DeGraaff officiated. A private family burial was held Jan. 23 at Maple Lawn Cemetery, Flora.

She died at 5:25 p.m. Fri., Jan. 19, 2007, at St. Joseph Hospital, Kokomo.

Born Nov. 6, 1928, in Lafayette, she was the daughter of Daniel and Betty Blair Guard. Her marriage was on Nov. 19, 1948, in Chalmers, to Dean Allen, Yoder, who survives.

A homemaker, Mrs. Yoder had formerly worked at United Telephone Co.

She attended Crossroads Community Church in Kokomo.

Surviving with her husband are two daughters, Pamela L. Rhine (husband: Sam) of Fishers and Candace S. Nustra (husband: Jerry) of Wauconda, Ill.; one son, Todd B. Yoder (wife: Kay) of Camden; one sister, Virginia Timmons of Lafayette; one brother, Orval Guard of Monticello; eight grandchildren; and 16 greatgrandchildren.

She was preceded in death by one son, Douglas M. Yoder, two sisters and one brother.

Ellers Mortuary, Webster Street Chapel, Kokomo, assisted the family with arrangements.
