Area Plan issues 15 permits

Seven permits were issued by Carroll County Area Plan Commission during December, for improvements amounting to $175,000. In January, eight permits were issued for improvements amounting to $372,800.

December permits

A residential permit with $110,000 value was issued to Don and Linda Billings, Carrollton Township, for a residence.

Permits for remodeling and accessories were issued to persons in:

Adams - Robert VanVoorst, storage;

Deer Creek - Ronald Bogan, storage; Rock and Elizabeth Crawford, addition;

Delphi - Paul Walker, garage;

Jefferson - Dana and Robin Smith;

Madison - Doug Whiteman, storage:

Total collected from permits was $178. Total collected for 2006 was $15,803.

January permits

Residential permits with $278,000 value were issued to persons in the following townships:

Jefferson - Ronnie and Stacy Welton, residence;

Tippecanoe - Robert Carl and Tammy Worthington, residence.

Permits for remodeling and accessories were issued to persons in:

Burlington - Edward and Beth Schimmel, garage;

Camden - Glenn Wilson, porch;

Carrollton - Ruben Brubaker, lean-to;

Democrat - Scott and Stephanie Spraker, lean-to.

Commercial permits were issued to:

+ Rex and Rita Millhouse, Jefferson Township, mini storage; + Safety Tech Protection Systems, Liberty Township, equipment shelter; + Jerry and Karen Sparks, Liberty Township, grain bin.

The total collected from permits issued was $178, with an additional $50 for a rezone application from Greg Jacobs.

Total collected from permits in January was $428.
