Hickory Grove Church will hold a COMMUNITY BENEFIT CHILI SUPPER on Saturday from 5 to 7 p.m. at the church in support of the White County and Carroll County Food Pantries. There is no charge for the supper. The community is invited and asked to bring canned and nonperishable food items that will be distributed to the pantries.

The Delphi Main Street Association has placed a FREE STANDING LITERATURE DISPLAY RACK at the Wabash and Erie Canal Conference and Interpretive Center in Delphi. The display rack will help encourage canal visitors to patronize Delphi and Carroll County restaurants, businesses and attractions. Local businesses interested in displaying business cards, brochures or menus at the Canal Center are encouraged to contact Jean Howell, Delphi Grants Coordinator, at 765- 564-6692.

CARROLL SCHOOL BOARD'S next regular meeting has been changed to Wednesday, Feb. 7, at 7 p.m. in the Administration Building.

DELPHI ART CLUB will meet at 7 p.m. Feb. 1 in Delphi at the new art gallery called The Secret Garden Studio and Gallery, owned by Carol Dickman. The gallery is on the south side of the courthouse square. Hosts will be Kathy and Jessie Snoeberger and Harry Idle. Dickman will present the program. Anyone interested in joining the club may come to this meeting. High school art students in the county are welcome. The club is looking for artists who paint in oil, watercolor, pastels, or do china painting, photography, wood carving, etc.

A DELPHI CHAMBER OF COMMERCE COMMUNITY CALENDAR MEETING will be Feb. 15 at 5:30 p.m. in the chamber office, 113 S. Washington St., Suite 01 (use alley entrance of the Downtowner building).

The purpose of the meeting is to document regular monthly hold meetings of community groups and focus on special events for 2007. Those unable to attend who have a regular monthly meeting are asked to call the chamber office at (765) 564- 3034. Regular Chamber meetings are the second Monday of each month. The next meeting is Feb. 12 at 5:30 p.m.

DEER CREEK TOWNSHIP ADVISORY BOARD will hold a PUBLIC MEETING Feb. 12 at 7 p.m. in the Gerber-Globe Valve Room of the Delphi Public Library to approve transfer of funds for new office equipment. All interested parties are encouraged to attend.

QUALITY QUILTERS will meet Feb. 1 and 15 at the Flora United Methodist Church to begin constructing a 4-H quilt. The room is on the second floor of the church. From the elevator, turn right and enter the first door on the left. Those attending are asked to bring their cutting supplies and machine. Contact Marge at (574) 967-3535 for more information.

The third annual TRANSPORTATION FAIR committee is issuing a CALL-OUT for antique automobiles for the Transportation Fair, to be held at Canal Park, Delphi, and elsewhere in the city.
