Delphi wrestlers place in Bronco Showdown

Marcus Brown and Mathew Randle, members of the River City Wrestling Club, participated in the Broncho Showdown Folkstyle Open held Sunday at Lafayette Jefferson High School.

Brown wrestled Novice 85 pounds and brought home a 6th place for the day. Randle wrestled Novice 140 and brought home 1st place. Approximately 290 wrestlers competed in the tournament.

Both boys are 5th graders at Hillcrest Elementary School.

This Sunday they will compete in the Normonco Folkstyle Open that will be held at North Montgomery High School, Crawfordsville.
