Richardson, Burton, Kremer set CHS, DCHS swim records

The county swim teams split victories last Wednesday as Carroll girls beat Delphi 112-68 while Delphi boys repaid Carroll 106-72.

Delphi's Shannon Kremer broke her 500 free record with a time of 5:25.50 and was a quadruple winner while Mara Burton was a triple winner.

For Carroll Jennifer Hardyniec, Valerie Allbaugh and Katilyn Brewster were double winners.

For the boys, freshman Brock Richardson broke Carroll's record for the 500 free with a time of 5:33.78. Richardson won the 200 free and Adam Bonner won the 200 IM.

For Delphi, Andrew Burton broke a 23-year-old school record in the 100 free with a time of :50.96. Burton was a quadruple winner, Kyle Price, Nick Force and Andrew Flora were triple winners, and Matt Keen and Jeremy Sterrett were double winners.
