Martha L. Frantz

Martha Lavaun Frantz, 91, of Rossville, died at 7:50 a.m. Jan. 18, 2007, at Milner Community Health Care Center, Rossville.

Born Nov. 30, 1915, in Carroll County, she was the daughter of Edward G. and Minerva J. Beeghley Frantz.

Miss Frantz was employed at Hamm's Grocery in Rossville for 16 years. She later worked 18 years as a nurse's aide at Lafayette Home Hospital, retiring in 1982.

She had been a member of the Middle Fork Old German Baptist Church since her baptism in September 1938.

She enjoyed knitting and crocheting.

Six nieces and two nephews survive.

Preceding her in death were three brothers, John, Everett and Charlie; two sisters, Mary Berry and Dorothy Frantz; and one niece, Jan.

Services were held Tuesday at the Middle Fork Old German Baptist Church. Home brethren officiated. Burial was at North Fork Old German Baptist Church Cemetery.
