Miriam A. Myer

Services for Miriam A. Myer, 96, of Flora, were held Saturday at Living Faith Church of the B r e t h r e n , Flora. Pastors Dana Hood and Jeff Tomson officiated. Burial was at Maple Lawn Cemetery, Flora.

She died at 10:40 a.m. Jan. 16, 2007, at North Woods Village in Kokomo.

Born Jan. 19, 1910, in Delphi, she was the daughter of Asa and Mollie Dunn Cohee. She graduated from Delphi High School in 1928. On Feb. 17, 1934, in Delphi, she married Joe W. Myer. He preceded her in death in August 1964.

Before retiring, Mrs. Myer worked as a waitress at the former Rainbow Café in Flora.

She was a member of Living Faith Church of the Brethren, where she taught Sunday School for many years.

Surviving are one daughter, Marlene J. Wolf of Flora; one granddaughter, Debbie Raney (husband: Dick) of Flora; one grandson, Jerry Wolf (wife: Teresa) of Kokomo; four greatgrandchildren, Stephanie Zook of Attica, Mich., Leanne Raney of Flora, Ryan Wolf and Lauren Wolf, both of Kokomo; and one sister, Lucille Popejoy of Rhode Island.

She was preceded in death by two brothers, John Cohee and Asa Cohee, and two sisters, Helen Orr and Mary Mc- Closkey.
