Lula Mae Yoder

Lula Mae Yoder, 78, of Kokomo, formerly of Flora, died Jan. 19, 2007, at St. Joseph Hospital, Kokomo.

Born Nov. 6, 1928, in Lafayette, she was the daughter of Daniel and Betty Blair Guard. She was married on Nov. 19, 1948, in Chalmers, to Dean Allen Yoder, who survives.

A homemaker, she attended Crossroads Community Church, Kokomo.

Also surviving are a son, Todd B. Yoder (wife: Kay) of Camden; two daughters, Pamela L. Rhine (husband: Sam) of Fishers and Candace S. Nustra (husband: Jerry) of Wauconda, Ill.; a sister, Virginia Timmons of Lafayette; a brother, Orval Guard of Monticello; eight grandchildren; and 16 great-grandchildren.

A son preceded her in death.

Services were held Monday in Kokomo. Private family burial was held Tuesday at Maple Lawn Cemetery, Flora.
