A free showing of the documentary film, AN INCONVENIENT TRUTH, on global warming, will be held at Indiana University Kokomo at 7 p.m. Jan. 31 in Kresge Auditorium. The film runs 100 minutes and is rated PG. Lecturer in Geology Lea Gilbertson and Senior Lecturer in Chemistry Marcia Gillette, Ph.D., will moderate a brief audience discussion of the movie's viewpoints after the showing. TEMPORARY CLOSURE of a portion of Main Street in Monticello from approximately Jan. 30 to the end of May while a bridge is replaced and other road modifications take place. A marked, twomile detour will direct motorists around the construction zone. The work is part of the Monticello Main Street Project, which is scheduled for completion by mid-summer 2007.
