Carroll County EMS will offer a First Responder Class beginning Feb. 13 from 6-10 p.m. in Deer Creek. Those interested in taking the class should talk to Pastor Tom McShannock.

Faith Lutheran church's choir director Peg Wright is interested in starting a youth choir. Those interested in participating should call her at 686-2874.

Kurtis Robeson, son of Kevin and Karen Robeson, has been honored by being chosen to sing in the All State Choir. The choir will perform Friday in the Covention Center in Indianapolis.

Kyle and Ryan Forgey, sons of Gary and Kim Forgey, have now returned to Springfield, Missouri, Bible School. They were invited to spend time with a friend in Arkansas after the Springfield area lost power due to the recent winter storms.
