Bridge site, new trail section
Restoration of the old Pulaski County iron bridge is progressing. After volunteers did what they could do, bridge parts were trucked to blacksmith Ross Brown for inspection and additional repairs. Site development for the bridge includes reconstructing a 400-foot section of the old canal. Dan McCain, Delphi Historic Trails chairman, said this will provide a safer trail loop to reconnect with the towpath behind Pizza Hut and Dairy Queen in Delphi.
