What's Happening Elsewhere ROCCWell Center for Health and Well-Being will host an EMPLOYERS FORUM on Jan. 25 from 7:30 to 9 a.m. at their new location, 1221 South Creasy Lane, Suite P in Lafayette. A light breakfast will be served and tours of the new facilities will be available. There will be a brief presentation by Tom Ferraro from Mayo Clinic. Those planning to attend are asked to call ROCCWell at 765-448-3000 by Jan. 18. ROCCWell is a Greater Lafayette Health Services, St. Clare Medical Center and Unity Healthcare Partner. WABASH WEAVERS GUILD will have a meeting open, to the public, Friday from 9:30 a.m. to noon at the Tippecanoe Arts Federation Wells Building in the north meeting room of the lower level in Lafayette. The West Central Chapter of the INDIANA NATIVE PLANT AND WILDFLOWER SOCIETY will sponsor local nature photographer Ed Zschiedrich for his public presentation of "Spring Moments at Spinn Prairie: Wildflower and Nature Observations From the Field," a photographic tour of a nearby prairie remnant. The event will be held Jan. 22 at 7 p.m. at Lilly Nature Center. INPAWS will also present an indoor program Jan. 24 from 1 to 3 p.m. at the Lilly Nature Center titled "Unlocking the Secrets of Amphibians." Both events are open to the public. The nature center is located on the north side of Lindberg Road between Northwestern and McCormick in West Lafayette. |
