Local basketball standout chosen for camps, commercial

M a t t Heber of Delphi recently attended the 2006 Pangos All- M i d w e s t Frosh/Soph Camp in Indianapolis. The camp f e a t u r e d some of the top freshmen and sophomore basketball players in the Midwest.

Last summer he was invited to attend the Indiana University Elite Camp, hosted by IU Basketball Coach Kelvin Sampson and his coaching staff.

A freshman, Heber averages 11 points and 8 rebounds per game for the Tippecanoe Tornadoes varsity basketball team. The Tornadoes were recently highlighted in a local "I'm Thinking Arby's" commercial in which Heber is seen making the winning basket.
