Football player earns recognition
Oracle senior Coy Pennington was honored recently as Delphi football team's most valuable player for the 2006 season. Pennington held season and career records for most tackles in a season, most career tackles, most fumbles caused, and most fumbles recovered. Ranked 11th in the state in tackles, he led the Hoosier Conference in tackles, too. Pennington plans to continue his football career at college next fall. Photo provided
