Roland "Ron" E. Fritz Sr., 72, of Royal Center, died Jan. 6, 2007, in Chase Center, Logansport. He was born Aug. 5, 1934, in Omaha, Neb. A veteran of the U.S. Marine Corps, he served in the Korean War. He was retired from Wilson Foods, where he was employed as division superintendent. Surviving with his wife, the former Donna L. Helling, are six children, including Michael Fritz (wife: Sara) of Delphi, and eight grandchildren. Services will be held at 11 a.m. today, Wednesday, at Trinity Lutheran Church, Logansport. Burial will be at Royal Center.
