Mabel Holmes

Services for Mabel Holmes, 93, of South Bend, formerly of Delphi, were held Friday in South Bend. Burial was at Camden Cemetery.

She died Jan. 2, 2007, at South Bend Memorial Hospital.

Born May 20, 1913, in Camden, she was the daughter of Noah and Sadie Roth Myer. She married T. Benton Holmes on April 23, 1932, and he preceded her in death, along with a daughter.

Surviving are a daughter, Helen Engle of Beuford, Ga., a granddaughter and a great-grandson.
