Donna L. Clark

Donna L. Metzger Clark, 85, formerly of Delphi, passed away Jan. 3, 2007, at 4:10 p.m. at Milner Community Health Care Center in Rossville. She had been a resident there since July 2005.

Mrs. Clark was born July 5, 1921, in Clinton County to Ross Hershel and Anna Florence Cripe Metzger. Her marriage was to Clinton A. Clark in Rossville on Dec. 9, 1945. He preceded her in death on July 10, 2005.

She was a 1939 graduate of Rossville High School. Prior to her marriage she worked at PSI in Mulberry.

Mrs. Clark was a member and deacon of Living Faith Church of the Brethren near Flora and played organ and piano at the Rossville and Pittsburg Brethren churches before they merged.

She participated in Extension Homemakers and was involved with delivering Meals-On-Wheels.

She was a homemaker and enjoyed gardening, crocheting and music.

Surviving are two sons, Larry Clark (wife: Melody) of Converse and Richard Clark (wife: Karen) of Clarkston, Mich.; a brother, Marvin G. Metzger of Delphi; four grandchildren, Neal Clark (wife: Jennifer), Alex Clark (wife: Amy), Sarah Umscheid (husband: Chad) and Kristen Clark; and two great-grandsons, Chasen and Kyan Clark.

Services were held Jan. 7 at Abbott Funeral Home, Delphi, with Pastor Jeff Tomson officiating. Burial was at Rossville Cemetery.
