Browns score high in AFBF national contest Ty and Sacha Brown were among Hoosier farmers who were rated as being among the top young farmers in the nation in contests held as part of the American Farm Bureau Federation's annual meeting. The Browns made it into the top 10 at AFBF's Young Farmer and Rancher Achievement Award contest. The Browns live in Clinton County and farm in both Clinton and Carroll counties, raising corn, soybeans and hogs and also operating a seed dealership and a grain merchandizing business. They qualified for the national contest by first winning the Indiana YFAA contest, which recognizes young farmers whose farm management techniques and commitment to their communities set a positive example for those involved in agriculture production. |
