Flora Police Department

Dec. 21, 3:45 p.m. - A report of identity theft was taken at 310 S. Monroe St. Officer Mark Thomas investigated.

Dec. 22, 2:37 p.m. - Danny A. Freeman, 22, Flora, was arrested for dealing marijuana. The arrest came after an ongoing investigation by the Carroll County Drug Task Force and the Flora Police Dept. Chief Paul Redmon investigated.

Dec. 23, 2:18 a.m. - Freddie T. McKay Jr., 38, Flora, was arrested for public intoxication. Sgt. James Bishop investigated.

Dec. 23, 8:15 p.m. - Two suspects spray painted exterior areas of Carroll Jr.-Sr. High School and a school bus. Another suspect was identified and interviewed for his role in entering the school after school hours. The two incidents are unrelated and both remain under investigation. Bishop and Sheriff’s Deputy Zach investigated. Officer Randy Larimore assisted.

Dec. 24, 7:10 a.m. - A vehicle driven by Fred Sorrells, 83, Flora, crashed into a parked unoccupied vehicle on E. Columbia St. near Brookview Dr. Larimore investigated.

Dec. 24, 10:20 a.m. - A two-vehicle crash occurred on CR50S and Oak St. A vehicle driven by Carol A. Ives, 50, Flora, turned onto CR50S from Oak St. and did not see a vehicle driven by Mariah J. Dance, 28, Flora. Dance was unable to avoid collision. Two passengers in Dance’s vehicle complained of pain, however refused treatment. Larimore investigated, assisted by Sheriff’s Deputy Mike Thomas.

Dec. 24, 8:22 p.m. - A domestic disturbance was investigated in the 600 block of Harmon St. Bishop investigated.

Dec. 24, 9:43 p.m. - Steven R. Hughes, 27, Lafayette, was arrested on several outstanding warrants from Tippecanoe County. Bishop investigated, assisted by Hall.

Dec. 31, 10:26 p.m. - Debra Williams-Dyer, 55, Columbus, was arrested on a warrant for check deception. Officer Josh Disinger investigated.

Jan. 1, 12:54 a.m. - Matthew Skeens, 21, Casper, Wyo., was arrested for auto theft, operating while intoxicated, leaving the scene of a property damage crash, criminal mischief and theft. Derrick W. Shuman, 20, Peru, was arrested for theft, criminal trespass and minor consumption. The pair allegedly stole a vehicle from a resident of Flora, striking several other vehicles before crashing on CR100N. Disinger investigated. Assisting were Larimore and Sheriff’s deputies Mike Thomas and Tony Liggett.

Delphi Police Department

Dec. 23, 8:18 a.m. Criminal mischief, Bassett and Talberts on Main St.

Three graffiti symbols in two colors were reported spray painted on the rear of the building. No suspects were located. Officer Justin Wilson investigated.

Dec. 24, 11 a.m. – Theft, Bicycle Bridge Rd. White wrought-iron lawn furniture reported missing from property. Chief Ed Chapman investigated.

Dec. 25, 10:24 p.m. – Misdemeanor theft, 404 Heritage Dr. Bird feeder was reported missing from property. Officer Chuck Kent investigated.

Dec. 25, 5:50 p.m. – Property damage, Shell gas station. Brian R. Johnson, 30, Lombard, Ill., Vincent Martincich, 37, Delphi. Officer Paul Vondrasik investigated.

Dec. 27, 10:53 p.m. – Misdemeanor OWI. Jonathan Kilgore, visiting Delphi, arrested for OWI. Kent investigated.

Dec. 29, 5:04 p.m. – Criminal mischief, 412 E. Main St. Unknown subjects spray-painted the rear of two storage units on North Washington St. Officer David Yeager investigated.

Sheriff’s Department

Dec. 28, 6:25 a.m. - Property damage, CR400S near CR700W. Jason L. Remaly, 34, Rossville, Donna M. Props, 55, Lafayette. Deputy Mike Thomas investigated.

Dec. 29, 2:26 p.m. - Property damage, SR18 near US421. Lindsey M. McCarty, 26, Bringhurst. Deputy Walt Radersdorf investigated.

Dec. 30, 2:10 p.m. - Property damage with injuries, US421 at Fairway Ln. Alfredo L. Florez, 38, Idaville, David O. Scott, 50, Monticello. Florez was cited for failure to yield and arrested for OWI and never receiving a license. Scott and passengers in both cars taken to White County Memorial Hospital and treated for minor injuries. Raderstorf investigated.

Dec. 30, 3:30 p.m. - Property damage, SR25 near CR100W. Kathleen M. Huguenard, 47, Fort Wayne. Raderstorf investigated.

Jan. 1, 3:42 p.m. - Property damage, SR29 at CR300S. Lisa E. Gibbs, 44, Logansport, Charles A. Mills, 54, Russiaville. Sgt. Dennis Randle investigated.
