Killingsworth receives recognition as long-time blood donor

Harold Killingsworth, Bringhurst received a 21-gallon pin when the Red Cross Bloodmobile visited Flora on Dec. 28. Others receiving pins were Harry Shaffer, Jr., Flora, a 20 gallon pin and Carl Seese, Delphi, a 6-gallon pin.

Sixty-three pints of blood were received from 60 donors. Eight donors gave double red units. The Delphi United Methodist Church with 10 volunteers will receive $100 from Flora Psi Iota Xi as the top donating member church. The Bringhurst United Methodist Church and the Flora Old German Baptist Church were runners-up with five volunteers each.
